Huntington Theatre Company announces its 2017-2019 cohort of Huntington Playwriting Fellows MJ Halberstadt and Brenda Withers.

Kitchen Theatre Company, Central New York's Off Broadway theatre, announces its 2017-2018 season. This is the first season for incoming Producing Artistic Director, M. Bevin O'Gara, who will be joining longtime Managing Director, Stephen Nunley. Kitchen TheatreCompany is known for its intimate 99-seat space, now owned by the theatre, and for the bold, intimate, engaging work it has produced for over 25 years. The 27th season will include seven plays aimed at starting 'important conversations,' presented from September to June.

Following the success of their delightfully different season opener, Everything is Established, Wellfleet's Harbor Stage Company, continues their sixth summer of serious fun with David Mamet's modern classic Glengarry Glen Ross.  An unrelenting look at the vicious underbelly of masculinity and ambition, Glengarry follows of a group of Chicago real estate salesmen as they jockey for commissions, leads, and personal standing.

The Harbor Stage Company, the artist-run ensemble on Cape Cod's Wellfleet Harbor, opens their sixth intrepid season with the New England Regional premiere of Everything is Established, a wild new comedy by playwright Hannah Kenah. 

Portland Stage's latest production is an engaging staging of Brenda Withers' new play, String Around My Finger, which had won the 2015 Clauder Competition and then been developed through the theatre's Little Festival of the Unexpected. The four-character play, set entirely in a hospital where a young couple finds themselves coping with the miscarriage of their child, resonates with a genuineness of dialogue, character and situation.

The Harbor Stage Company, the artist-run ensemble that produces intrepid, live performance on the shores of Wellfleet Harbor, will celebrate their sixth season with another summer of ambitious, authentic theater.

Portland Stage is pleased to present BUYER & CELLAR by Jonathan Tolins, and Staring Dustin Tucker.  Previews run Tuesday, February 28 - Thursday, March 2, and opening Friday, March 3 and running through Sunday, March 26, 2017.

Amphibian Stage Productions announces the cast and creative team for its first main stage play of the 2017 season, Northside Hollow by Jonathan Fielding and Brenda Withers. Starring Jim Jorgensen and Jordan Sobel, the play runs Friday, February 10 through Sunday, March 5 at the Berlene T. and Jarrell R. Milburn Theatre at Amphibian Stage Productions. Supporting artists include Stephanie Cleghorn Jasso and Jake Nice.
