Following the success of their powerful season opener, The Weir, Wellfleet's Harbor Stage Company, continues their seventh intrepid season with Edward Albee's tempestuous masterpiece, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? As ferocious as it is funny, this modern classic nimbly dismantles the American Dream. When Albee's iconic George and Martha invite a young couple over for a late-night, liquor-infused house party, a fierce battle for truth and power unfolds.

Featuring Harbor co-founders Robert Kropf and Brenda Withers and company favorites Alex Pollock (Northside Hollow, The Seagull) and Molly Kimmerling (The Kritik). Rounding out the creative team are stage manager Katie Graves, lighting designer John Malinowski, set designer Sara C. Walsh, and technical director Rich Archer.. Performances begin Thursday, July 12th and will play through Saturday, August 4th.

The Harbor Stage Company is helmed by co-founders Jonathan Fielding, Stacy Fischer, Robert Kropf, and Brenda Withers. In keeping with its mission to produce great plays at fair prices for the right reason, and thanks to the support of local sponsors WOMR, Kathleen Nagle at Kinlin Grover, Winslow's Tavern, and Salon 54, single tickets to Harbor performances remain set at $23. The company will continue its tradition of partnering with deserving Cape charities for their First Fridays Pay-What-You-Can performances. Half the proceeds from the Harbor's by-donation Friday, July 13th performance of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? will be donated to the Wellfleet Farmer's Market, a non-profit dedicated to making healthy, fresh, local food accessible for all.
