Harbor Stage Company's THE BILLINGSGATE PROJECT to Open 7/18

Beginning Thursday, July 18th, the Harbor Stage Company will present the second show of their sophomore season with an original piece by founding ensemble member Brenda Withers (The Ding Dongs), The Billingsgate Project. Created in conjunction with this year's 250th Anniversary of Wellfleet's founding, the play offers a surreal, compassionate look at a town's attempts to recreate the past and forecast the future.

Strange Sun Theater - under the direction of co-Artistic Directors Jessica Bashline and Evan Mueller - present as its inaugural production the US premiere of the multi-award winning play THE DROWNING GIRLS by Beth Graham, Daniela Vlaskalic & Charlie Tomlinson, with preview performances beginning tonight, March 15 prior to an official press opening of March 18 at Walkerspace (46 Walker Street) in Manhattan.

Amphibian Stage Adds Performance of THE DING DONGS OR WHAT IS THE PENALTY IN PORTUGAL?, 12/2

Amphibian Stage Productions today announced that it would present a Sunday matinee on December 2 of the staged reading of The Ding Dongs or What Is the Penalty in Portugal? by Brenda Withers, in addition to the originally scheduled Monday evening performance on December 3. All of the plays featured in the company's staged reading series in 2013 will also have two performances.

Beginning August 15th, The Harbor Stage Company launches the third and final chapter of its critically acclaimed inaugural season with David Rabe's tragic farce Sticks and Bones. The production marks the Cape Cod premiere of the much lauded, rarely produced play, a searing dark comedy whose Broadway production earned the 1972 Tony Award for Best Play. The New York Times calls the play "a poet's vision of the disaster of moral bankruptcy."
