The New York Philharmonic will return to Carnegie Hall four times in 2022, the first Carnegie Hall performances by the orchestra at Carnegie Hall since 2015.

As live performances return to venues throughout Southern California, Irvine Barclay Theatre welcomes a new season featuring an array of renowned performers, from iconic dancers to Grammy-winning artists, the beloved holiday classic The Nutcracker, and Emmy nominee and social commentator Fran Lebowitz, among others.

. Today’s leading artists gather on The Django stage to celebrate NEA Jazz Master Dr. Lonnie Smith in special back-to-back tribute concerts 12/9. Two leading pianists make their Django debut: Benito Gonzalez 12/3 followed by Orrin Evans 12/8 leading his new Brazilian project “Terreno Comun”.

Broadway and TV Star, Tonya Pinkins, sings a new jazz ballad that was released today, Thursday, 10-14, on George Floyd’s birthday, to honor his memory. The song is called  “Strange Fruit, Revisited”. It is inspired by both the current racial inequities and the  Billie Holiday classic.  

For the second time only, Marsalis brings his Grammy nominated quartet to The Soraya stage to explore their most recent album, The Secret Between the Shadow and the Soul on Thursday, October 28 at 8pm.   

The Soraya celebrates both its 10th Anniversary and Opening Night of the 2021-22 Season with a free performance—Grammy Award winner Arturo O'Farrill and the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra performing his cross-border collaboration Fandango at the Wall.  

The Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center has unveiled their 2021-22 season featuring a captivating collection of music, dance, comedy, and speakers. Located on the campus of California State University, Long Beach, the Carpenter Center launches its 26th anniversary season on Monday, September 20, 2021.

BAM R&B Festival returns for two weekends of free performances at Fort Greene Park, set for Saturdays and Sundays, October 2—3 and October 9—10. The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra has announced that Louis Langrée will  not seek to renew his contract beyond the conclusion of the 2023-24 season, his eleventh as the Orchestra's Music Director.

The New York Philharmonic has announced its 2021–22 season, marking the Orchestra’s long-awaited return to subscription performances following an 18-month period of cancellations due to the pandemic. For the first time in modern history the Philharmonic will be performing outside its home for an entire season.
