Birdland Jazz Club's schedule for December 23-December 29 includes A Swinging Birdland Christmas,nVeronica Swift, Freddy Cole Quartet, and more!

Renowned singer, actor and musician Harry Connick, Jr. will return to the stage at Wynn Las Vegas' Encore Theater for three nights only in February 2020. On the heels of his latest album, Connick will present his True Love: An Intimate Performance show Feb. 26 a?" 29, 2020 at Encore Theater. Tickets for each performance go on sale Friday, Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. PT.

DACAMERA's 2019a?"20 season continues its jazz series with saxophonist Branford Marsalis at the Cullen Theater, Wortham Theater Center on Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020, at 8 p.m. The NEA Jazz Master, Grammy Award-winner and Tony Award- nominee returns to the DACAMERA stage alongside the quartet he has led for the past three decades.

The first date in a nationwide anniversary tour, the concert lineup features Kandace Springs, James Francies and the James Carter Organ Trio, each performing a set of their own music, followed by a finale with all of the artists coming together to perform a classic Blue Note tune.

Northrop welcomes acclaimed saxophonist Branford Marsalis and famed pipe organist Jean-Willy Kunz for a dazzling crossover program full of surprising discoveries on Tue, Oct 1, at 7:30 pm. Though combining saxophone and pipe organ may seem like an improbable duo, Marsalis and Kunz have created a one-of-a-kind, multi-genre musical evening featuring classical pieces that could be a?oereadily appreciated by jazz fansa?? (All About Jazz). The concert is the first in Northrop's Music Series events spotlighting the restored Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ.

On Saturday, August 3, Westchester Collaborative Theater (WCT) continues its Jazz Masters music series with the Valerie Capers Quartet featuring Capers an accomplished performer, educator and composer and her band. Joining Capers will be John Robinson on bass, Alan Givens on saxophone and flute and Doug Richardson on drums. The band will perform two sets at 7:30 and 9 pm at WCT, 23 Water Street in Ossining.
