On Saturday, Feb. 21, 2026, during the OC Theatre Guild’s membership meeting, nominees for the fifth annual OCTG Theatre Awards were officially announced.

The Curtis Theatre, in collaboration with Southgate Productions, will present the Tony-nominated musical SOMETHING ROTTEN! from February 6-22, 2026, in Brea, CA. This comedic production offers a unique take on Renaissance drama with a modern twist.

Shrewdly directed by the great Ilana Lydia, B3's searing production of My Love, My Lumberjack opened last Friday and runs for only two more performances, next weekend. Last year, Chance Theater Resident Playwright Marshall Pailet directed his show, Triassic Parq - The Musical, which went on to win the Ovation Award for 'Best Musical - Intimate Theatre.' He also presented two other staged readings as part of our On The Radar New Play Series - Who's Your Baghdaddy or How I Started the Iraq War and a brand new creation - Loch Ness. The show was so new, in fact, that it wasn't even finished yet... until now. The staged reading of the newly complete Loch Ness will perform for one night only - tonight, May 13 at 8pm at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken Theater Arts Center.

Chance Theater presents the fifth show of its 15th Anniversary Season - a family-friendly holiday offering The Secret Garden - The Musical with book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Marsha Norman, music by Tony Award nominee Lucy Simon, and directed by Casey Long and KC Wilkerson.
