Gamut Theatre Group's Popcorn Hat Players Children's Theatre will hold their 27th Annual New Years Eve Party For Children, where they countdown to NOON instead of midnight, on December 31, 2019. The party is so big that it is held at the Sunoco Performance Theater at the Whitaker Center in downtown Harrisburg. This year The Popcorn Hat Players are presenting the wildly popular Beauty and the Beast.

'Heal The Music Day' Raises More Than $400,000 For Music Health Alliance

Led by multi-platinum entertainer Dierks Bentley, 2019's 3rd annual a?oeHeal The Music Daya?? raised over $400,000 for Music Health Alliance (MHA). Entirely funded through grants and individual and corporate donations, a?oeHeal The Music Daya?? highlights the music community's efforts to provide financial support for the non-profit's critical and life-saving free services.

La interacción artístico-académica auspiciada por dicha asociación civil incluye la participación de 196 músicos de entre 12 y 20 años de edad. De ellos, 96 pertenecen a la Orquesta Juvenil de Los Ángeles (YOLA, por sus siglas en inglés) y 69 estudiantes del Conservatorio Nacional de Música y la Escuela Superior de Música −ambas del INBAL−, así como 21 miembros de la OECCh y 10 niños de los semilleros creativos pertenecientes a los Sistemas de Agrupaciones Musicales Comunitarias Bajío de Guanajuato; Música para la Vida (Muvi), de San Luis Potosí, y Jalisco es Música, de Jalisco.

En el marco de las presentaciones que Gustavo Dudamel realizará en la Ciudad de México con la Filarmónica de Los Ángeles, el director venezolano, fiel a su compromiso de exhortar el intercambio cultural y la unión entre los países latinoamericanos, sostendrá un encuentro académico con estudiantes de las escuelas de música del Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL), con miembros de la Orquesta Escuela Carlos Chávez (OECCh) y niños de los semilleros creativos que coordina el Sistema Nacional de Fomento Musical (SNFM), en el Palacio de Bellas Artes, el próximo miércoles 13 de noviembre.

De Blasio Administration Announces New IDNYC Program Benefits Ahead Of Five Year Anniversary

The de Blasio Administration today announced the launch of the IDNYC renewal campaign, new and returning benefit partners, and the IDNYC Middle School Card. With the fifth anniversary of the IDNYC program approaching and the first set of cards set to expire beginning in January 2020, the program has also introduced a new card design and a comprehensive, citywide advertising and targeted outreach campaign to promote renewals. IDNYC is the largest and most successful municipal ID program in the country with over 1.3 million cardholders.

Centers for Performing Arts Bonita Springs will present the brand new comedy CAUSE AND AFFECTION, October 24-27. A mix of pre-recorded soap opera scenes were filmed over the summer by the play's director Elizabeth D'Onofrio, whose professional careers in theatre and film span more than two decades. Just For Laughs Announces Line-up For October 11

Comedy/variety show JUST FOR LAUGHS returns to The Center for Performing Arts Bonita Springs October 11, 7:30pm at the Moe Auditorium and Film Center. The show includes comedians, songs, sketches and a musical improvisation. Comedian Carmen Vallone, of Comedy Night School and Last Comic Standing-fame, will be joined by Sheena Reagan, Charles Calabritto and Kyle Brandle. Brandle recently wowed the Orlando Fringe Festival with his comedy play One Night at Louie's.

Katey Sagal Returns in a Recurring Role on ABC's No. 1 Comedy THE CONNERS

Golden Globe(R) Award-winning actress Katey Sagal is returning to ABC's hit comedy series 'The Conners' for a 10-episode arc in which she will star as Louise, an ex-rock drummer who now manages Casita Bonita. Louise went to high school with Dan Conner (John Goodman) and is catching up on lost time with him while in Lanford, Illinois. She will first appear in episode 203.
