On Sunday, September 26, the California AIDS Walk was held in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. Hosted by Wanda Sykes and Blair Underwood, special guests Megan Hilty, Eden Espinosa, Magic Johnson, Hanson, Shontelle, Cazwell, Jermaine Jackson attended the walk and performed in concert for the walkers.
Hal Holbrook to Guest Star on 'The Event' this Season

Entertainment Weekly's Ausiello Files reports today that Hal Holbrook just recently finished filming a guest stint on NBC's The Event. The series, an upcoming American conspiracy thriller was created by Nick Wauters. It is scheduled to premiere Monday, September 20, 2010 at 9 pm/8c.

After its much buzzed about world premiere at Comic-Con, NBC is offering five lucky cities or towns the chance to have an exclusive pre-broadcast screening of the new high-octane conspiracy thriller 'The Event,' if they simply 'Demand It!' The network, who partnered with Eventful Inc. and their 'Demand It!' platform, is providing fans with the opportunity to participate by logging on to http://eventful.com/theevent to demand an early screening of the pilot episode in their area. Beau Bridges, one of America's best-known actors, joins Brian Stokes Mitchell, Jessica Biel, Scott Bakula, and Ellen Greene in Guys and Dolls in concert at the Hollywood Bowl. There will be three performances only, Friday and Saturday July 31 and August 1 at 8:30 pm and Sunday, August 2 at 7:30 pm. Bridges will play Arvide Abernathy, and sings 'More I Cannot Wish You,' an audience favorite from the Frank Loesser score, which includes some of the most popular songs of the era including 'I'll Know,' 'A Bushel and Peck,' 'If I Were A Bell,' 'Guys and Dolls,' and 'Luck Be a Lady.'

The 51st Annual GRAMMY? Awards Pre-Telecast Ceremony will take place on GRAMMY Sunday, Feb. 8, from 1 ? 3:45 p.m. PT at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The ceremony is the non-televised event where a majority of GRAMMY categories are awarded, and it has grown into its own celebrated affair with guest presenters and live performances. Presented with full production values appropriate for the GRAMMY Awards, the Pre-Telecast is now attended by thousands, including many nominees, and occurs just hours before the live telecast at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The Pre-Telecast Ceremony will be streamed live internationally on www.grammy.com beginning at 1 p.m. PT, and will remain on the Web site for 30 days following the event.
