On Sunday, September 26, the California AIDS Walk was held in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. Hosted by Wanda Sykes and Blair Underwood, special guests Megan Hilty, Eden Espinosa, Magic Johnson, Hanson, Shontelle, Cazwell, Jermaine Jackson attended the walk and performed in concert for the walkers.

Entertainment Weekly's Ausiello Files reports today that Hal Holbrook just recently finished filming a guest stint on NBC's The Event. The series, an upcoming American conspiracy thriller was created by Nick Wauters. It is scheduled to premiere Monday, September 20, 2010 at 9 pm/8c.

September 8, 2010 - Emmy and Tony Award-winning Hal Holbrook will guest-star in an arc of several episodes on NBC's new conspiracy-thriller series 'The Event' (Mondays, 9-10 p.m. ET) which debuts on September 20.

The Television Academy has announced the complete line-up of presenters for this year's Emmy Awards, The Los Angeles Times reports.

The 2010 Emmy Awards have released the names of additional actors who will present at the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Jon Hamm and Jim Parsons, as well as Eva Longoria-Parker and Blair Underwood have been added to the list of presenters for the 2010 Emmys.

The new Fall Schedule features all-drama lineups on Mondays and Wednesdays, and all comedies on Thursdays, plus unscripted programming into compatible dramas on Tuesdays and Fridays. The high-quality series include new comedies such as 'Outsourced,' Love Bites,' 'Perfect Couples,' 'Friends With Benefits' and 'The Paul Reiser Show.' The new dramas are 'The Cape,' 'Harry's Law,' 'Outlaw,' 'Undercovers,' 'The Event,' 'Chase' and 'Law & Order: Los Angeles.'

NBC has given series pickups for its 2010-11 season to the dramatic thriller 'The Event,' the comedy 'Outsourced' and the romantic anthology series 'Love Bites.'

Beau Bridges, one of America's best-known actors, joins Brian Stokes Mitchell, Jessica Biel, Scott Bakula, and Ellen Greene in Guys and Dolls in concert at the Hollywood Bowl. There will be three performances only, Friday and Saturday July 31 and August 1 at 8:30 pm and Sunday, August 2 at 7:30 pm. Bridges will play Arvide Abernathy, and sings 'More I Cannot Wish You,' an audience favorite from the Frank Loesser score, which includes some of the most popular songs of the era including 'I'll Know,' 'A Bushel and Peck,' 'If I Were A Bell,' 'Guys and Dolls,' and 'Luck Be a Lady.'

An Inconvenient Truth by Al Gore has won the 2009 GRAMMY Award for Best Spoken Word Album. An Inconvenient Truth is read by Beau Bridges, Cynthia Nixon and Blair Underwood.

The ceremony is the non-televised event where a majority of GRAMMY categories are awarded, and it has grown into its own celebrated affair with guest presenters and live performances. Presented with full production values appropriate for the GRAMMY Awards, the Pre-Telecast is now attended by thousands, including many nominees, and occurs just hours before the live telecast at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The Pre-Telecast Ceremony will be streamed live internationally on www.grammy.com beginning at 1 p.m. PT, and will remain on the Web site for 30 days following the event.
