(Philadelphia, April 2023) - Philadelphia's prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts presents Mozart's Don Giovanni this spring, April 27-May 9, 2023 in Center City, the Main Line and Bucks County.

I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you, readers, about the show I am performing in this semester. I play Moses, Mollie, Minimus, Pilkington, and others in Animal Farm, adapted by Ian Wooldridge, based on the book by George Orwell, and directed by Rebecca Conaway ’23! This dramatization remains faithful to the book’s plot and intent and retains both its affection for the animals and the insightfulness of its message.

In this special and one-off event led by the BBC Proms, author of Atonement and one of the finest writers of his generation, Ian McEwan collaborates with the BBC symphony Orchestra and reads extracts from his own works with music curated around his readings and a special guest appearance from jazz singer Emma Smith.

On Friday, March 31st, BBC Symphony Orchestra and Ian McEwan held a concert conducted by Adam Hickox at the Barbican Hall. The concert will be broadcast on BBC Radio 3 on Sunday 14 May with a cut-down on BBC Radio 4 on Saturday 8 April. Check out photos here!

“The Shadow Men,” an original dance theatre production inspired by 19 artworks and interviews with local Trenton artist Tamara Torres, will be performed by the Mercer County Community College Academic Theatre and Dance Company at Kelsey Theatre April 14 -16. Tickets are on sale at www.KelseyTheatre.org and livestream will also be available.
