Austin Playhouse is offering a festive holiday season with two in-person and streamed on demand events. Ginna Hoben’s heartwarming holiday comedy for grown-ups, The 12 Dates of Christmas and Bernadette Nason’s hit one-woman spin on Christmas, Stealing Baby Jesus running this December.

Austin Shakespeare will return to the Long Center's Rollins Theatre this fall with Bollywood Twelfth Night from Nov. 5 to 21, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday to Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater are pleased to present the schedule for the month of February! At Birdland Jazz Club, catch the iconic Lionel Hampton Big Band Featuring Jason Marsalis, current GRAMMY nominee Catherine Russell, the Birdland debut of AGUAS Trio with Omar Sosa, Yilian Cañizares and Gustavo Ovalles, and iconic vocalist Jane Monheit. Internationally recognized trumpeter Rachel Therrien, the Seth Weaver Big Band, and The Voice contestant Melinda Rose Rodriguez will also be performing upstairs. 

Outside in Music will present A Very ChimyTina Christmas featuring viral jazz sensations Martina DaSilva and Dan 'Chimy' Chmielinski.
