Nearly 16 months after dimming its famous marquee due to COVID-19, Aurora's Paramount Theatre has started rehearsals for its 10th Anniversary Broadway Series season opener, Kinky Boots, marking a pivotal moment for the second largest subscription house in the nation as it returns to live performances next month.

Liverpool's Laughterhouse Comedy Club has signed up for a return to the city's outdoor live entertainment festival in September. A line-up boasting some of Laughterhouse Comedy's most popular acts is sure to wow audiences at Liverpool Theatre Festival. 

The Broadway producers of SIX, the musical by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, have confirmed that the original Broadway Queens, who originated their roles when the show first debuted in New York, will return to the production this fall at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 W 47th St, NYC).

The Richard Lawson Studios Self Tape Master Class Series is back with returning guest teacher, director/writer/actor Lily Mariye on July 31st, 2021. Classes take place every Saturday morning at 10 AM PST via Zoom Webinar.

It was announced today that the Costume Industry Coalition’s new exhibition, Showstoppers! Spectacular Costumes from Stage & Screen, has added both extraordinary costumes and exciting partners to their summer spectacle, running from August 5 – September 26 at 234 West 42nd Street.

The season two trailer, released today, brings retired detective Alexa Crowe (Lawless) back to her Kiwi roots, where she’s once again unable to resist when asked to look into a bizarre unsolved murder.

WICKED will be the first Broadway tour to resume performances in the U.S. following the pandemic shutdown.  The musical will relaunch at the Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas from August 3 – September 5, 2021, kicking off the 2021-2022 Germania Insurance Broadway Series presented by Dallas Summer Musicals.

The producers of the hit musical have also announced complete casting for the relaunch of the North American Tour. Talia Suskauer (Elphaba), Allison Bailey (Glinda), Sharon Sachs (Madame Morrible) and Tony Award and Drama Desk Award winner Cleavant Derricks (The Wizard) will return to their roles.

In this summer's Ice Factory Festival Claudia Acosta is directing A Grave is Given Supper, with poems by Mike Soto, featuring Elena Hurst and in partnership with Teatro Dallas. The show runs July 28 - 31.

Tickets will be available on a Pay What You Can system, starting at just £6. A minimum of 25% of every ticket bought for SHEDINBURGH 2021 will go into the SHED LOAD OF FUTURE FUND a fund to support the next generation of artists get to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. An extraordinary sun pendant is to go on public display for the first time as part of the British Museum's National Programmes. The sun pendant, also known as a bulla, could be one of the most significant pieces of Bronze Age metalwork ever discovered in Britain. The rare and spectacular object will be hosted at Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery later this year from September until December as a British Museum Spotlight Loan.

This comes after the show was forced to close on July 4 after a cast member tested positive for COVID-19. The closure period extended on July 12 due to “a small number of isolated positive cases of Covid-19 within the company.'

The Monterey Jazz Festival have announced that tickets for its 64th edition have sold out for the weekend of September 24-26. Tickets went on sale to the general public on July 14 and officially sold out on July 20.

Dorset Theatre Festival will welcome their 2021 summer season with the release of their StageFree Audio Plays Series, beginning with Redeemed by Chisa Hutshinson, directed by Dorset's resident artist, Jade King Carroll.

This weekend Roz White takes the stage Friday with “Turntable Dreams” followed by DC Legends The Kennedys on Saturday. Concerts begin at 7:30 pm.
