NIGHT OF JANUARY 16TH Comes to Ruth Stage

Ruth Stage will continue its residency at the Jersey Shore Arts Center with Night of January 16th, following its acclaimed productions of Edward Albee's The Zoo Story and At Home at the Zoo.

Review: GARY GULMAN: GRANDILOQUENT, Soho Theatre

Do you remember the book that made you fall in love with reading? Maybe it was a book you read in grade school that has stuck with you for your whole life, or even a book that a friend recommended. For Gay Gulman, that book is The Monster At The End of This Book, in which Grover from Sesame Street begs the reader to stop reading the book, as, one might guess, there is a monster at the end that Grover is afraid of. For Gulman, the opening line Grover has on the copyright page, “This is a very dull page,” rivals that of Dickens with “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times” and Moby Dick’s “Call me Ishmael.”

Wasatch Theatre Company will continue its 26th year with two upcoming production–The Trial of Ayn Rand by William Missouri Downs running April 11-14 at the SLC Theatre Co-Op and The Realistic Joneses by Will Eno running April 22-April 27th at the MId-Valley Performing Arts Center in Taylorsville.  

Review: NIGHT OF JANUARY 16TH at Castle Craig Players

NIGHT OF JANUARY 16TH is a three-act courtroom drama by Ayn Rand, set in 1933. Director Pamela Amodio helps bring out the best in this phenomenal ensemble cast who all appear to be greatly enjoying their roles! The case involves a young woman named Karen Andre who is standing trial, being accused of the alleged murder of her former lover and boss, Bjorn Faulkner.
