Disney Theatrical Productions just celebrated its first stage-to-television collaboration with the Disney Channel in adapting its original stage musical Freaky Friday for a worldwide televised premiere on the Disney Channel on Friday, August 10th.

Stephen DeAngelis continues his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of  AT THIS PERFORMANCE… to be held on Monday, July 16th  at The Green Room 42, Green Fig, Fourth Floor, Yotel NYC, 570 Tenth Avenue (at 42nd Street), New York, NY 10036 at 7 PM.

Adapting a movie as magical as Frozen for the stage was not an easy feat, according to its creative team. Yahoo recently did an in-depth exploration of the technology that went into bringing this story from screen to stage. Watch the full video below!

Legendary singer/songwriter Billy Joel attended the Broadway smash Frozen at the St. James Theatre on Wednesday, June 6th and afterwards congratulated the show's stars Caissie Levy (Elsa) and Patti Murin (Anna) backstage.

Caissie Levy is letting the storm rage on nightly in the iconic role of Elsa in Disney's Frozen. She recently stopped by THE VIEW to give TV audiences a peek inside the ice castle with the Oscar winning-anthem 'Let It Go'. Watch below!

We're seeing double! Santino Fontana, the voice of Hans in the animated film version of Frozen, went to see the musical last night. After the show, he posed for some photos with John Riddle, who plays Hans on stage.

FROZEN is Disney's latest foray of into moving musicals from the screen to stage.  The story of sisterly love is currently melting frozen hearts on Broadway, joining its current counterparts ALADDIN and THE LION KING on the Great White Way (because of the snow, of course). Walt Disney Records also released the original cast recording digitally on May 11, and physical copies will be available on June 8.

On Monday, May 11th, Feinstein's/54 Below celebrated the 2017-2018 season's amazing and landmark Broadway debuts with Another Opening, Another Debut! 

To celebrate the debut of the Frozen Original Broadway Cast Recording, the show has just released a brand new, behind-the-scenes music video of its best known song and Act I closer, "Let It Go." This is the first time that the Broadway version of the song, and Caissie Levy's (Elsa) thrilling vocal performance, have been heard outside of the St. James Theatre. The video takes the viewer into the recording studio with Levy and into the backstage and onstage worlds of the cast of the Broadway production of Frozen. "Let It Go" won the Academy Award® in 2014 for Best Original Song.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Another Opening, Another Debut! Broadway Debuts of the 2017-2018 Season tonight, May 7th, 2018, at 9:30pm.

The Frozen Original Broadway Cast Recording will be on sale digitally by Walt Disney Records on Friday, May 11, 2018 at digital music services. The physical album will be available on Friday, June 8, 2018 wherever music is sold. The album is produced by Kristen Anderson-Lopez, Robert Lopez, Stephen Oremus, Dave Metzger and Chris Montan.
