The Flea has announced the complete cast and design team for the world-premiere production of HANG TIME, the new play written and directed by Pulitzer Prize finalist Zora Howard.

Audra McDonald and Myles Frost have joined the cast of Ava DuVernay’s upcoming film Caste: The Origins of our Discontents. The pair will join the previously announced Jasmine Cephas-Jones, Aunjanue Ellis, Niecy Nash, Vera Farmiga, Nick Offerman, Connie Nielsen, and Jon Bernthal.

Gary Perez has joined the cast of Stephen Adly Guirgis’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play, BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY, directed by Austin Pendleton.  Mr. Perez assumed the role of Lieutenant Caro on January 20, 2023.

Ava DuVernay’s ARRAY Releasing has announced the acquisition of writer/director Gabriel Martins’ MARS ONE. The Obie-Award winning The Fire This Time Festival has announced the four playwrights – Kendra Augustin, Kim Brockington, Jahquale Mazyck and James Anthony Tyler –  who will be developing work in the 5th cycle of its New Works Lab program.
