Loft Ensemble in North Hollywood has announced the world premiere of a new holiday comedy, Mrs. Dilber’s Fabulous Bedcurtains by Arthur M. Jolly. Performances begin on Saturday, November 12, and will continue through Sunday, December 18 only.

The Alley Theatre announces the line-up for the 2020 Alley All New Festival, January 16 - January 26, 2020. The fifth annual festival will feature readings, workshop performances, and an early preview of seven new plays. Festival playwrights include Katie Bender, Vichet Chum, Arthur M. Jolly, Jiehae Park, Theresa Rebeck, C. Denby Swanson, and Sharr White. Special packages are available for the final weekend of the festival and include priority seating, exclusive artist access, and meals between performances. Packages can be booked now at alleytheatre.org/allnew or by calling the Box Office at 713-220-5700. Advance reservations for individual events are recommended and can be made on December 16 at alleytheatre.org. All readings and workshop performances are free and open to the public.

Babes With Blades Theatre Company (BWBTC) starts its 21st Season with the world premiere of The Lady Demands Satisfaction, playing at City Lit Theater, 1020 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., July 21 - August 25.  Winner of the most recent Joining Sword and Pen Competition, and developed in 2017-18 through BWBTC's Fighting Words Program, this play is written by Arthur M. Jolly, directed by Babes With Blades Theater Company Member Morgan Manasa with combat by Violence Designer and BWBTC Member Samantha Kaufman.  Preview performances are Saturday, July 21 at 8 p.m., Sunday, July 22 at 3 p.m., Thursday, July 26 at 8 p.m. and Friday, July 27 at 8 p.m. Opening Night is Saturday, July 28 at 8 p.m. Regular performances are Thursdays - Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Preview tickets are $10, student and senior tickets are $15 and general admission are $25. Award winning theatre company LOFT ENSEMBLE announces its 7th Season of complete programming. Founded in 2008 by Geoffrey Hillback, Adam Chambers and Emmy Award nominated actor Cameron Britton (Mindhunter) among others, Loft began curating full season programming in 2012 at its original space in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles.
