DEFINITION is presented in partnership with The Bushwick Starr and will feature works from US-based artists within the mediums of: video, design, photography, painting, drawing, and other visual forms, speaking to the themes of Black women’s mental, physical, and sexual health. 

Independent producer Adam Kern will present a reading of Ken Kaissar's Play The Victims Or: What do you want me to do about it?, which will have a virtual reading on Thursday June 24th 2021 at 8:00 PM EST on Zoom.  

Ars Nova has announced details for its upcoming 2021–2022 season which marks a return to in-person events in two venues alongside a continuation of Ars Nova Supra, an online home for live broadcasts and original digital content.

Little Mozart Foundation, Greenwich House Music School, Soapbox Presents, and Ars Nova will present Juneteenth Jubliee on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 4-5.30pm at Greenwich House Pottery (16 Jones Street). The event is free, but RSVPs are requested.

THE SPOTLIGHT SERIES, a bi-monthly livestreamed concert series created by A LITTLE NEW MUSIC will “spotlight” the catchy music of composer/lyricist team, Meinwald & Leary, on June 15th. Ars Nova has announced The CAMP Bonfire Series, a four night festival of eight new comedy works. Running online June 28–July 1 on Ars Nova Supra, The CAMP Bonfire Series is the culmination of six months of peer support and artistic feedback facilitated by Mahayla Laurence and Matt Gehring who direct CAMP, Ars Nova’s new development program for early career comedy artists.

This socially distant installation experience is inspired by DEFINITION, an upcoming musical that takes a surrealist look at an African American woman's inner awakenings. Created by director and musician Whitney White, this multi-media event will take the audience through a guided journey with pre-recorded text and music.
