Curve has announced a programme of performances, events and free activities to mark Black History Month this October.

Sean Foley, the Artistic Director of Birmingham Rep announced two new comedies to start the New Year '23, including the world premiere of Spitting Image Live: Featuring the Liar King, as well as the completion of the Autumn '22 Season.

Jonathan Larkin's Cherry Jezebel will make its full stage debut at the Everyman from 8-26 March 2022, following the production's sold out run of rehearsed readings in 2021. A frank and hilarious piece of new writing from regular Hollyoaks writer and long-time Everyman collaborator, the production is directed by James Baker (Jerry Springer – The Opera, YANK! The Musical).

Organisers of The Big Burns Supper have revealed the full programme for the 2022 festival with a hugely expanded range of events and shows returning, in-person following last year’s shift online due to the pandemic.

As part of The Theatre on the Downs, The Wardrobe Ensemble have announced the winners of their brand-new commission of for artists based in South West England to develop two new pieces of theatre via an open call.

More shows have been announced to join The Wardrobe Ensemble's 10th anniversary celebration: The Theatre on the Downs, an ambitious new theatre festival running from August to October.

As previously announced, the Traverse will be presenting three productions at Edinburgh's newest Festival venue, MultiStory, including two A Play, A Pie and A Pint shows which will play on alternate days.

Seabright Productions will be presenting a season of the best-loved shows of previous Fringes at the Pleasance’s EICC this year. The Season contains something for everyone from Apphia Campbell’s Award-winning plays Woke and Black is the Color of My Voice to Richard Shelton’s Sinatra: Raw, and more.

The four critically acclaimed productions were curated by Olivier Award-winning producer, James Seabright, and filmed last month before socially distanced audiences at Wilton's Music Hall, the oldest surviving Grand Music Hall in the world.
