Seattle Theater Writers Seattle's theater reviewers circle announces the Winners of Excellence in Seattle theatrical productions. Spanning dozens of theater companies and productions, from large and prominent to small and humble, the Gypsy Rose Lee Awards honor the excellence found across the area.

Washington Ensemble Theatre has announced the cast for the Seattle premiere of Dance Nation, the Pulitzer-nominated play by Clare Barron about a group of young people discovering the power inside of them and deciding what they're going to do with their potential. Single Carrot Theatre kicks off Season 12 with Rajiv Joseph's powerful play Mr. Wolf, which opens on Friday, September 13. The cast brings together multiple new faces to Single Carrot from the Baltimore theatre community, as well as reunites a creative team from past seasons.

Set in a post-apocalyptic, dystopian future, Omen follows a group of young witches who band together to prevent the Earth from teetering towards another disaster after detecting some mysterious human activity. The show features an original score of Pop, Rock and R&B inspired music played onstage by actors who double as the band. It's rad, radioactive and relevant.

THE TORONTO FRINGE FESTIVAL returns this summer with an extensive line-up of productions by award-winning artists, the popular POSTSCRIPT pop-up patio, and for the first time, will venture to the East End with 16 shows presented at main venue Streetcar Crowsnest. The TORONTO FRINGE takes place July 3 July 14, 2019 with 151 shows at 46 venues presented across the city, and all venues are fully accessible.

After taking Orlando Fringe by storm, F*ckboys The Musical is coming to Ontario! Serving up an unapologetic look at the modern dating scene, F*ckboys The Musical will visit five Ontario cities May - July 2019 as part of the Fringe Festival circuit.
