Ariana DeBose appeared on CBS Mornings today to discuss hosting the 75th Annual Tony Awards. DeBose discussed her previous experiences as a Tony nominee, gave advice to this year's nominees, and teased how they will be honoring Broadway swings and understudies at this year's ceremony.

Set in 1950s Baltimore, the conservative squares face off against the leather-clad delinquents in this rockabilly musical from the creative team behind Hairspray – Thomas Meehan and Mark O'Donnell – featuring a score from Fountains of Wayne co-founder Adam Schlesinger and The Daily Show executive producer David Javerbaum.

The main character is a musical theater writer named Jonathan who's trying to get his foot in the door in the New York theater scene. He's turning 30, his friends are moving up in their careers, and he's learning to manage expectations and reality in his life's endeavors.

In celebration of Céline Dion’s birthday on March 30, Tony Award-winning producer Eva Price (Jagged Little Pill, Oklahoma!) has announced that Titanique – the irresistibly funny and irreverent new musical send-up of the blockbuster film Titanic, featuring the songs of pop icon Céline Dion – will open off-Broadway this summer at The Asylum Theatre (307 W 26th St.)

Lin-Manuel Miranda has announced on Twitter that he will no longer be attending tonight's Oscars after his wife tested positive for COVID-19. Miranda, who is nominated in the Best Original Song category for the film Encanto, revealed that he and his kids tested negative, but out of caution, he will be skipping the ceremony.

Netflix has shared the 'Green Green Dress' deleted scene from tick, tick BOOM! The new scene features Andrew Garfield and Alexandra Shipp. The track, which is included in Jonathan Larson's stage musical, was cut from the recent Netflix film adaption directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Presented by The Ritz Theatre Company as part of the organization's 'Grand Reopening' season, this autobiographical musical by Jonathan Larson, the Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning creator of Rent, is the story of a composer and the sacrifices he makes on the road to the proverbial big break. Helmed by Ritz Associate Artistic Director Matthew Weil, the show runs at The Ritz from March 18th through April 3rd.
