Quintessence Theatre Group has invited a group of artists from their tenth anniversary season for a virtual performance to raise funds for the company, The Waist-Up-Black-Tie Miscast Cabaret: A Virtual Fancy Fundraiser.

Quintessence Theatre Group, Philadelphia's professional classic repertory theatre, is bringing the world of William Shakespeare into our homes with a reading of his classic tragedy, Othello. This reading, on Wednesday May 6 at 7:30 p.m., will be streamed on Facebook (www.facebook.com/QuintessenceTheatre) and on the company's website www.qtgrep.org.

Quintessence concludes its sixth season of progressive classic theatre with the Devil and Saints Repertory: Shaw's SAINT JOAN presented in rotating repertory with Christopher Marlowe's DOCTOR FAUSTUS. An eleven actor repertory ensemble, comprised of Quintessence's best and lead by directors Rebecca Wright and Alexander Burns, will bring to life Shaw and Marlowe's masterworks and continue to establish Quintessence's brand of epic classic theatre for 21st century Philadelphians.
