Palm Beach Dramaworks announces One Week Extension of The Spitfire Grill by James Valcq (Book and Music) and Fred Alley (Book and Lyrics) Based on the Film by Lee David Zlotoff Must Close on March 3

The Spitfire Grill, a warm and uplifting show by James Valcq (book and music) and Fred Alley (book and lyrics) about starting over and second chances, forgiveness and redemption, becomes the first musical to be produced by Palm Beach Dramaworks as part of its subscription season. This internationally beloved work opens on February 1 and runs through February 24, with specially priced previews on January 30 and 31. Bruce Linser directs.

Comedy Central builds on its success of last year's Up Nextshowcase at Clusterfest, featuring the network's rising stars, by including another stand-up showcase and adding a variety showcase. The weekend will highlight over 20 comedians with two separate and distinct stand-up showcases taking place on Friday, June 1, hosted by Chris Redd with special guest Tim Dillon and Saturday, June 2, hosted by Jullian McCollough with special guest Mark Normand; and a brand new variety showcase taking place on Sunday, June 3, hosted by Matthew Broussard. Cracks of Light, part of Gibney Dance's observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, bears witness to survivors of intimate partner and gender-based violence in a series of performance works created during the journey from struggle to survival. Bringing forward stories once held in silence, the series gives voice to the power of art and community. Cracks of Light provides an opportunity for reflection, connects with our community of advocates, and looks ahead to our future.
