In 1931, at the height of The Great Depression, The Group Theatre (Clurman, Strasberg, Crawford, Adler, Meisner) embarked on a journey of self-discovery and artistic exploration that would revolutionize the American Theatre. In 2009, as America faces a financial crisis that is closing 16 Broadway shows and numerous regional theatres across the country, The Transcendence Theatre Company will embark on its own exploration to take life and art to new levels.
'The Transcendence Artist Project' is an experiment of great magnitude uniting personal development with artistic development through individual, group, and community integration. The company of artists will join together with a team of holistic health, healing arts, peak performance nutrition, mindset training, sustainability, and creative arts specialists to enhance the personal and collective development.
