The award-winning Transcendence Theatre Company, lauded by audiences and critics for its high caliber series of Broadway inspired productions, presents 'Stairway to Paradise,' the first of it 2018 "Broadway Under the Stars' summer series of main stage productions. The vision, tone and themes of each 'Broadway Under the Stars' musical production are led in development by Transcendence Theatre Company Artistic Director, Amy Miller and Creative Director, Tony Gonzalez.
Today, in recognition of its leadership in and commitment to social justice, community and all areas of the arts, widely renowned art and social justice nonprofit Gibney Dance becomes simply Gibney, concurrently unveiling a brand new visual identity and bold vision for the future. Central to that vision is a major expansion in both space and programs that encompasses new partnerships and residencies and provides a host of new opportunities for artists and social justice activists to work and create across a total of 52,000 square feet, 23 studios and five performance spaces, including 10,000 square feet of new studio and theater space unveiled today—see below for details. Transcendence Theatre Company's popular Broadway Under the Stars show series will present "Fantastical Family Night" for two nights only July 14 and 15 in the 150-year old open-air Winery Ruins at Jack London State Historic Park in Glen Ellen. This is a fun family outing that begins with pre-show picnics and activities including face painting and pony rides at 5 pm, prior to the 7:30 pm show.
