From March 30 to April 17, Theater for the New City will present 'Larry & Lucy,' a new play by Peter Welch directed by Joe John Batista.

The 29TH Annual Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival (LAWTF) has a roster of distinguished artists who will co-host six evenings of programs virtually. This year's overall theme is Beyond Boundaries.

The Wallace Theater has announced the cast of Ken Ludwig's 'Shakespeare in Hollywood', coming April 6 -10 at the LHUCA Firehouse Theater.

From January 22-30, Theater for the New City will present the New Yiddish Rep's production of 'Di Froyen' (The Women), based on the play 'Women's Minyan' by Naomi Ragen, adapted for the Yiddish Rep by Melissa Weisz and Malky Goldman. Director is Rachel Botchan.

White Dog Theatre will present Endangered Species: The Play by Karen Kalensky. This play will be performed as a virtual event, considered part of the Fertile Ground Festival. It premiers on Jan 31st at 12pm and streams on demand until Feb 6 @7pm.

Based on the true story of a year-long journey through a 28-day addiction treatment program, 'Lightweight' examines a complicated young woman's attempt to survive anorexia and maintain a debilitatingly positive attitude in post-9/11 New York City.

In celebration of United Solo Theatre Festival's return to its resident stage/home at Theatre Row in New York's theatre district, Omar Sangare, the Festival's founder and artistic director, joined forces with actor and singer Wendy-Lane Bailey to create “Five Minutes: Snapshots in Time”. The solo piece premieres Sunday, November 14th at 7:00 PM.

Prolific, veteran character actor Basil Hoffman has died. He was 83. Hoffman passed on September 17th. His death was announced today by his longtime friend and personal manager Brad Lemack.

When Jonathan Tipton Meyers lost his girlfriend, his business and his identity, he got in his car and drove. With the audience in the backseat, this bravura monologue chronicles Jonathan's two-year journey through the gig economy with Uber and Lyft. 

After a long year and a half of theater venues being closed, The Tank is returning to in-person shows, 'Smartphone Love' being one of them. The play is so relevant to 2021, being a love story that is occurring during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic.
