Milwaukee Repertory Theater's 65th Anniversary Season opens in the $1.75 million newly renovated Stackner Cabaret with Songs for Nobodies by Joanna Murray-Smith (American Song, Bombshells) starring Milwaukee Rep favorite Bethany Thomas (Ain't Misbehavin, Ragtime, Man of La Mancha) in a one-woman tour-de-force show about legendary divas Judy Garland, Patsy Cline, Edith Piaf, Billie Holiday and Maria Callas.

And you thought she was out spoken on the hit NBC series Little House on the Prairie, as the girl America loved to hate -Nellie Oleson.  Declared "TV history's #1 one bitch" by Vanity Fair, Ms Arngrim's best-selling memoirs, 'Confessions of a Prairie Bitch: How I Survived Nellie Oleson and Learned to Love Being Hated,' (Harper Collins) had an unprecedented run on the New York Times Best Seller's List. East Lynne Theater Company, with the sponsorship of The Chalfonte Hotel, presents 'We'll Meet Again: The Songs of World War II,' as the second of a two-part series, Musical Soirees at the Hotels. This musical tour-de-force will be held on Sunday, August 12 at 8:00PM at The Henry Sawyer Room of The Chalfonte Hotel, featuring actress, recording artist, and cabaret performer Patricia Durante.

Next up this summer at the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival (FLMTF) is Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn. The show runs August 1 through August 22 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Emerson Park.

Featuring 15 instruments, 25 songs, and comprised almost entirely of Guthrie's own words, Woody Sez runs August 1-26 on the Leonard C. Haas Stage in Malvern.
