HGTV Orders 26 New Episodes of LOVE IT OR LIST IT

After attracting more than 17 million viewers during its highest rated season ever, which ended its 20-episode run on Jan. 7, the hugely popular HGTV series Love It or List It has been renewed for an additional 26 episodes. The series has aired on Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Starring designer Hilary Farr and real estate expert David Visentin, Love It or List It features the pair as they help homeowners make a difficult decision: love their existing home after Hilary remodels their space or purchase a new house that David finds to better fit the needs of the family. The new episodes are slated to premiere in late 2019.

But, after brides find their dream gown and walk down the aisle, what comes next? HGTV has the answer with SAY YES TO THE NEST. In a sneak peek airing Saturday, January 5 at 10/9c, the HGTV series follows different newlyweds on their journey to finding and purchasing their first shared home. A significant milestone for any couple, this show not only offers insight into what a couple is looking for in a home, but it also provides an inside look at the dynamics of their relationship as they begin to lay the foundation for a “nest” of their own. The six-episode season of SAY YES TO THE NEST premieres on HGTV in March 2019.

FLIP OR FLOP's Ratings Increase Drives HGTV Thursday Night Performance

The most recent season of HGTV hit series Flip or Flop, starring divorced couple and business partners Tarek and Christina El Moussa, averaged a 1.06 live plus three day rating among viewers P25-54 during its Thursday 9-9:30 p.m. ET/PT timeslot. Since its return on May 31, the series delivered a 15-percent ratings increase over the prior season and was a top 5 cable program in its timeslot, attracting more than 19 million viewers.

HGTV Orders 15 Additional Episodes of FLIP OR FLOP

With viewership of Flip or Flop up 18 percent over its prior season, HGTV has picked-up 15 additional half-hour episodes of the popular series starring divorced couple Tarek and Christina El Moussa. To date, the seventh season, which finales on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, has attracted more than 15.2 million viewers. The most recent episode on Thursday, August 2, ranked as the #1 cable show in the 9-9:30 p.m. timeslot among viewers P25-54. Flip or Flop will continue to spotlight Tarek and Christina as they buy dilapidated houses in Southern California, turn them into beautifully renovated homes and flip them for profit. With production underway, the new season is slated to premiere in Spring 2019. 

FOOD NETWORK STAR Crowns Season 14 Winner in Surprising Twist

Food Network's hit series Food Network Star concluded on Sunday, August 5th, with chef and restaurateur Christian Petroni and food novelist Jessica Tom both named season 14 co-winners. Through nine arduous episodes of culinary challenges to test their cooking and on-camera skills, both Jessica and Christian impressed mentors and judges Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis, as they beat out 10 other culinary hopefuls for the ultimate title.
