In collaboration with The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, HowlRound Theatre Commons established the National Playwright Residency Program (NPRP) in 2013.

As part of its 2020/21 season the Alliance will produce HANDS UP in association with Spelman College. Across seven monologues written by seven Black playwrights, HANDS UP depicts the realities of Black America from the perspective of varying genders, sexual orientations, skin tones, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

This show is such a good vessel for the message that reminds us to inhale and exhale, despite the fact that 'our whole lives are lagging.'

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the online acting workshop Monologue!, an intensive rehearsal of contemporary or classic monologues, will be held as part of Bay Street's new online programming platform Bay Street To-Go. Civic Theatre announces its 106th Season, opening October 2, 2020, sponsored by REI Real Estate Services.
