Sundance Institute will convene dozens of offscreen events, including inclusive and intersectional conversations on the next wave of storytelling, radical data transparency, the future of democracy at its intersection with the arts, behind-the-scenes panels on the art of filmmaking and musical performances that range from intimate to raucous at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival taking place in Park City, Salt Lake City, and Sundance, Utah, January 24 through February 3, 2019.

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, the nonprofit cultural center located at the National Register Historic Site of the Woodstock festival in Bethel, NY,  will celebrate the Golden Anniversary of the greatest festival of all time with exhibits, events and programs throughout 2019.

Following a show-stopping performance on last night's season finale of NBC's The Voice (watch here), singer-songwriter Brynn Cartelli has released her new song “Last Night's Mascara” – available now via all DSPs (stream here). The self-penned track sees her collaborating with Jesse Shatkin (Kelly Clarkson, Sia) and Mozella (Madonna, Miley Cyrus) for a brilliantly candid anthem. “I'm so excited about releasing 'Last Night's Mascara' because it showcases my love for storytelling in a real, stripped down, raw way” said Cartelli.

Acclaimed Los Angeles drummer and producer Te'Amir [pronounced Taah-mer] ties together his 2018 two-part EP series of beat driven and soulful explorations Abyssinia & Abyssinia Rise, together inspired by his Ethiopian heritage, for release as one vinyl full-length LP, January 25 on Tru Thoughts. The release is imprinted with his research into the Ethiopian Golden Era, Ethiopiques, traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean music, and offers a beatific interpretation that takes the listener on a journey through the soundscapes of the Abyssinian Empire.

Genre defying R&B/Soul goddess Deva Mahal is set to release her much-anticipated debut album Run Deep on March 23 via Motéma Music, fresh off the success of her self-titled introductory EP. Race The Tide, the latest project from Los Angeles singer-songwriter Jesse Macht, has released 'Dayenu.' The song premiered via Atwood Magazine, who called it 'a heartfelt ballad of hope and tranquility.' The song, which 'gives new life to an ancient mantra,' is a bonus cut from their debut album Race The Tide, out this Friday.
