Artists for World Peace, a nonprofit organization, recently hosted its 7th annual Broadway event at The Cutting Room. The show was produced by Broadway's own Sharone Sayegh and Wendy Black-Nasta, the founder of AFWP. Among the performers were stars of the Broadway hit THE BAND'S VISIT. Escape to Margaritaville, the new musical featuring the songs of iconic singer-songwriter-author Jimmy Buffett, opens tonight at the Marquis Theatre (210 West 46th Street) with a star-studded celebration of the eagerly anticipated musical's Broadway premiere.
Jimmy Buffett and Escape to Margaritaville will take over NBC's "Today" when the cast of the new Broadway musical performs two numbers written by the iconic singer, songwriter, and author. In the video below, Paul Alexander Nolan and Alison Luff will lead the company in a medley of "A Pirate Looks at Forty" and "One Particular Harbor."

The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Escape to Margaritaville, the new musical featuring the songs of iconic singer-songwriter-author Jimmy Buffett, to be released on Mailboat Records, is available for pre-order today, Monday, December 18 at www.MailboatRecords.com/E2M.html. The full album, which was recorded last month in Chicago and features both original songs along with many of Jimmy Buffett's classics, will be released both digitally and on CD, on Friday, February 16, 2018, the morning of the show's first Broadway performance.
