Escape to Margaritaville, the new musical featuring the songs of singer-songwriter-author Jimmy Buffett, played its final Broadway performance on July 1. THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - has announced the New York debut of THE BONES, a new band featuring Alison Luff and Matt Magnusson, on Thursday, July 12 at 7:00 PM. Their concert will trace how Alison - currently starring on Broadway in Escape to Margaritaville - and Matt - recently seen as Kenickie in the Toronto revival of Grease - met, fell in love, formed a indie pop band, and eloped in the fall of 2015. The Bones is a blend of their individual styles of music and is best described as a synergistic expression of their love for one another. After only knowing each other three weeks they recorded their first demos at The Village Recorder in Los Angeles. This summer they are in the process of recording their debut full-length album.
