Just two weeks ago, a new leading lady took over at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. Following in the footsteps of Shoshana Bean, who took her final bow as Waitress' pie-making mom-to-be on July 21, is Alison Luff.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Alison Luff and Mark Evans just joined the Broadway cast of Waitress as Jenna and Dr. Pomatter. Check out a video of their first curtain call below!

Richard Kline (a?oeThree's Companya??) will join the Broadway cast as Joe tonight, July 24th through Sunday, August 18th. Kline replaces Larry Marshall, who will join the National Tour of Waitress and return to the Broadway cast on Tuesday, August 20th.

THE GREEN ROOM 42 will present the music of Josh Franklin on Sunday, August 18 at 9:30 PM.

Waitress's Jenna and Dr. Pomatter, Shoshana Bean and Erich Bergen, took their final bows at the diner this past weekend, and we have a peek inside the curtain call, including an emotional speech by the show's director, Diane Paulus. Be sure to check out the full video!

On Tuesday, BroadwayWorld learned that WAITRESS will end its Broadway run at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020. Featuring a book by Jessie Nelson and a score by Sara Bareilles WAITRESS began performances on Broadway on March 25, 2016, and was nominated for four Tony Awards, including Best Musical. 

Alison Luff will take Times Square tomorrow evening for Times Square Alliance's free summer concert series, Broadway Buskers!

It was announced today that Alison Luff will join the Broadway cast as Jenna on July 23rd. Shoshana Bean, who was previously set to perform through July 7th, will extend her run and play her final performance on July 21st.

Producers Hunt Lowry announced today that an industry reading of Arnold's play For Better For Worse will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at District Social (252 W 37th St.).
