Given that it's the time of year when Synetic brings out ghoulish Halloween fare, the choice of a children's favorite like Peter Pan may come as a bit of a surprise. BWW Review: Synetic Theater Brings Back a TWELFTH NIGHT to Remember
by Barbara Johnson - Jul 18, 2016

Originally earning 11 Helen Hayes nominations and audience acclaim in 2014, Synetic Theater's silent 1920s-style take on TWELFTH NIGHT is re-staged this season - which is not a moment too soon. In a winning blend of quirky vintage comedy and surprising emotional depth, this production manages to reinvent Shakespeare in a way that's so energetic, it could never be called tired.

BWW Review: Synetic Theater Takes Alice, and Us, to Wonderland
by Ellen Burns - Oct 7, 2015

One thing is certain, when the lights go down in the Synetic Theater space, they will not come up on the expected; the imaginative company's signature is their unique and creative approach to storytelling on stage. They are known for their physicality and elaborate staging (you might have already experienced one of their silent productions; particularly memorable is The Tempest in 2013), and ALICE IN WONDERLAND is classic Synetic. Alice in Wonderland is one of those tales that lends itself to as many interpretations as there are people who read/hear/see it, and is thus fertile ground for the stage.
