New York-based pianist and composer Alex Brown has released his new album The Dark Fire Sessions. An electrifying rising artist, whose vision, musicality, and abilities as both a pianist and composer have aptly lauded him with praise from Downbeat Magazine, the New York Times, and both the Latin and mainstream GRAMMY Awards.

'Through A Dark Wood (Deluxe)' includes 5 new songs from the original sessions where Church, coming out of a bruising divorce, wrote, recorded and scrapped a full album's worth of material before starting anew.

he show is a program of short comedies, written by John Doble, produced and directed by JC Gafford, and presented by 11 West Productions. Estimated running time is 70 minutes. Postcards from a Bench is suggested for audiences age 16 to Adult.

The fundraiser THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC! is an evening of songs under the stars directed and hosted by Bruce Kimmel, with musical direction by Richard Allen, produced by Kathleen Delaney for the Group Rep, will take place Monday, August 23rd at 8:00 pm and Tuesday, August 24th at 8:00 pm with a dessert buffet to follow catered by Great Grapes.

Today, Sea Wolf announced the anticipated new album Through A Dark Wood will release on March 20 via Dangerbird Records. The Los Angeles-based artist returns with his first new album in six years, featuring his most intimate material to date. Along with the announcement, Sea Wolf has released a new video for “Fear of Failure”, the captivating debut song that exemplifies the strength in confronting internal demons. FLOOD Magazine featured the video today, calling it “more intimate than anything [he] has done before.”  

Los Angeles-based artist Sea Wolf has released a moving new track titled “Fear of Failure”, his first new music in four years. Showcasing lush, indie/folk melodies and carefully crafted lyrics, “Fear of Failure” is a raw, contemplative song that highlights the power in vulnerability and bravery in the face of fear. CLASH featured it today, noting “The arrangement is sparse and the vocal pointed, the lyric driving the issue home with relentless honesty.”

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is Broadway's hit musical based on London's urban legend with several stage adaptations dating as far back as 1847. Set in the 19th Century, Sweeney Todd is the tale of a man determined to seek vengeance. Framed and imprisoned by a corrupt judge whom he believes responsible for the death of his beloved wife, Todd returns to London after being rescued by a sailor. The sailor, Anthony, falls for the judge's beautiful ward, in reality Todd's daughter Johanna. She is smitten with Anthony. But Johanna is the subject of Judge Turpin's vile lust, and he keeps her confined, intent on marrying her himself.
