The Theatre Leadership Project (TTLP), founded during the pandemic to create lasting change in American theatre by installing BIPOC leadership in the industry, held its first in-person affair on Monday at Brooklyn Chop House in Times Square.

The Prince Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, announced that Jamila Ponton Bragg has been awarded The Prince Fellowship and Cynthia L. Dorsey has been awarded the Prince/TTLP Fellowship.

The Theatre Leadership Project (TTLP) has been approved by New York State as a qualifying diversity and arts job training program for the state’s $100 million New York City Musical and Theatrical Production Tax Credit

The Prince Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, announced that Osh Ghanimah has received The Prince Fellowship and Lawryn LaCroix has received the Prince/TTLP Fellowship, formerly known as The T. Fellowship. The late Broadway producer and director Harold Prince created the program to usher in the next generation of creative producers.

TTLP’s Company Management Program will offer fellowships featuring supplemental opportunities for continued learning and mentorship to up to five employed BIPOC company managers and assistant company managers already working on Broadway shows as New York’s hard-hit theatrical industry reawakens.

The 12th Jimmy Awards ceremony will be available to watch online on Thursday, July 15th at 7:30PM ET. Fans can watch right here at BroadwayWorld. The ceremony, hosted by Corbin Bleu with a special appearance from Mandy Gonzalez, will be presented entirely online and remain available for viewing for 72 hours ONLY, through Sunday, July 18, 2021.
