 Les Miserables - The Staged Concert returned to the stage last night, 20 May. Theatre fans have been so excited to get back to the theatre, and have shown their love for the show on social media.

As Audições Abertas para Les Miserables School Edition (licensed by MTI US) acontecerão nos dias 31 de julho e 01 de agosto e o Curso de Montagem acontecerá de agosto a novembro, com início no dia 7 de agosto, todos os sábados das 14h às 17h. Cameron Mackintosh has announced full touring dates for the UK and Ireland tour of his production of the Boublil and Schönberg’s “LES MISÉRABLES”. The musical will open at Glasgow Theatre Royal on 24 November 2021 where it has been extended by 2 weeks to run until 1 January 2022, before playing Liverpool Empire (5 – 22 January 2022). Full touring dates have been announced for the UK and Ireland tour of Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed production of the Boublil and Schönberg's “LES MISERABLES”.

Theatrical licensor Music Theatre International (MTI) has just announced updates to All Together Now!: A Global Event Celebrating Local Theatre, in which schools and theatres around the world are empowered to locally produce and perform an exclusive musical revue featuring songs from MTI’s beloved shows over the weekend of November 12, 2021.

The only production of LES MISERABLES currently playing anywhere in the world is the one on Hale Centre Theatre’s Centre Stage--an all-out spectacle with burnished visuals and vocals. Scene after scene amazes the audience with its artistry, lush lighting reminiscent of stained glass, and immense scale. This is quite possibly one of the most spectacular productions of LES MISERABLES ever staged.

On this day in 2017, Cameron Macintosh's acclaimed revival of the musical Miss Saigon landed on Broadway starring Tony-nominee Eva Noblezada. 

Performances are set to return for Les Misérables -The Staged Concert at the Sondheim Theatre, beginning 20 May 2021. The production is currently booking to 5 September 2021. 

Performances of Les Miserables: The Staged Concert have been cancelled between 16 – 28 February 2021.

One of Broadway's most iconic anthems has been turned into a Trump campaign rallying cry, and Betty Buckley isn't having it. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, despite being served a cease-and-desist order this summer from composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, the Trump campaign has continued to use Buckley's rendition of 'Memory,' at rallies across the country.

As BroadwayWorld reported earlier this month, at a campaign rally in Sanford, Florida, the Trump campaign continued its use of the song 'Memory' from Cats, in defiance of a cease-and-desist order from the song's composer, Andrew Lloyd Webber. The song's use was reported on social media by individuals attending the rally.

BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that lyricist Herbert Kretzmer has died at age 95. Kretzmer is best known for writing the lyrics to the English musical adaptation of Les Miserables.
