My husband loathes plays and yet I still dragged him out to Jaeb Theatre Sunday night to experience Spymonkey's Hysteria. After interviewing Toby last week, I knew it was our warped sense of humor and we'd love it. Not five minutes into the play at Klaus's unexpected greeting to Laura, he is tapping my knee mouthing, 'you were right.'

A comedy about death, conceived in grief, birthed by Amrita Dhaliwal & Gemma Soldati. The Living Room will have a six night run, including one preview, at Theatre of Note in Hollywood as a part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival this June. Performances throughout June beginning with a preview on June 9 at 5p, and shows on June 13 at 8p, 19 at 10p, 21 at 9p, 23 at 3p, 27 at 9p.

The ARTS at MARKS will sponsor the 2nd annual H H Hawai`i Physical Comedy Fest. The fun starts with community workshops by Master Kumu Aitor Basauri on January 25, 2019. Seven performances follow by local and visiting artists will begin on Saturday, Jan. 26th , 7:30pm. The 11-time award winning show The Eulogy, the worst funeral speech ever by Michael Burgos will kick off the shows aiong with the local piece, Moringa, Tita, Ma`i, Maile featuring Slack-Key guitarist Macky Catania and performers Mareva Minerbi and Kukana.

Frances Black Projects in association with CAP21 proudly presents Commedia dell'Artichoke, a new comedy about love, dreams, pizza and trying to make it in New York. This production, a contemporary take on commedia dell'arte - the classic Italian style of theatre with masked actors performing a blend of scripted and improvised comedic scenarios - plays January 15 - February 6 at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street, between Bowery and Lafayette).
