I dare you not to fall in love with Abigail Bengson. With her wild curls, quirky humor, pristine white jeweled dress and cowboy boats she stood on the stage and a light shined from inside her. As she sang, sometimes the sweetest sounds and other times wails of grief, she was mesmerizing. The only thing I was more captivated by then Abigail was Abigail and Shaun's love story. HUNDRED DAYS is the real life courtship of the Bengsons who married after three weeks of meeting each other and the rest is history. Although their love story is unconventional, the whirled wind romance felt relatable to anyone that has ever found their 'person'.

On Tuesday night, despite a thirty-minute delay due to technical difficulties beyond the group's control, the enthusiasm of both audience and band members did not dampen. In tank top and jeans, Abigail Bengson approached the mic - that too was not working - and said "all our sh*t's broken" and magically, the mic boomed her voice over the audience as she, her husband Shaun took their seats on empty stools and were soon joined by the band.

Written by Abigail Bengson, Shaun Bengson and Sarah Gancher, "HUNDRED DAYS" tells the story of how the Begsons, a musician couple, would embrace life if gifted with only HUNDRED DAYS.

The unique album was recorded with a live studio audience that captures the excitement and emotion of the original production. It was released in streaming and digital formats earlier this season. The Off-Broadway League today announced nominations in 19 categories for the 33rd Annual Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway. The Lortel Awards will be presented on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at NYU Skirball Center beginning at 7:00 PM EST.  This year's event will be hosted by actors Laura Benanti and Jason Jones and will once again serve as a benefit for The Actors Fund.

This popular and highly-anticipated program of The Public Theater's winter season includes artists from across the U.S. and around the world including Belarus, France, Germany, Indonesia, Lebanon, and the UK. Curated by UTR Director Mark Russell, this year's UNDER THE RADAR expands to venues throughout New York City in addition to The Public Theater's downtown home at Astor Place.
