Due to an overwhelming response, Rockefeller Productions is opening a new block of weekend tickets for the highly anticipated Disney Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Adaptation.

Deep in the Hundred Acre Wood, a new adventure is about to happen. Disney’s iconic Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin, and their best friends Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit and Owl (and Tigger too!) will all arrive on stage in a new beautifully-crafted musical stage adaptation. 

Mint Theater Company will continue its Silver Lining Streaming Series with the on-demand streaming of the three-camera archival recording (filmed in HD!) of Women Without Men by Hazel Ellis, directed by Jenn Thompson beginning Monday, February 22nd, and continuing through March 21st.

The theatre is located at 525 North First Street, in Downtown Phoenix, and ticket prices begin at $17, when purchased as part of a 4-show package.

Fifty-eight film and television writers have been named finalists for The 44 th Annual HUMANITAS Prize, it was announced today by HUMANITAS Executive Director Cathleen Young and President Ali LeRoi. The writers are nominated for their work in the 30-minute Comedy, 60-minute Drama, Children's Teleplay, Independent Feature Film, Drama Feature Film, Comedy Feature Film, Family Feature Film and Documentary categories. The HUMANITAS Prize was created to honor film and television writers whose work inspires compassion, hope, and understanding in the human family.

Cortland Repertory Theatre, one of New York State's longest running professional summer theatres, has announced their 48th annual season for the summer of 2019. All six mainstage shows will make their CRT debuts.

Walt Disney Records is set to release Disney's Christopher Robin Original Motion Picture digital soundtrack on August 3. The score features music by Emmy Award-winning Geoff Zanelli ("Into the West," "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales") and Grammy-nominated composer Jon Brion ("Lady Bird," "Trainwreck"). Disney's "Christopher Robin" is in theaters nationwide also on August 3.

A season of classic and beloved stories featuring the wonderful imaginations of children, this season promises to be one of Adventure Theatre MTC's biggest adventures yet.

MR. PIM PASSES BY debuted on the stage in 1919, written by A.A. Milne (1882-1956) Although he will be known forever for his children's literature as the creator of Winnie-the-Pooh, Milne also wrote numerous plays and screenplays, books of poetry, and seven novels. This comedy for grown-ups tells a tale of mistaken identity and the lives it affects after a mysterious stranger pops up at a Woodbury, Connecticut home. It's never explained why Mr. Pim is in the neighborhood, although it's very apparent he does not live in the area nor is he visiting anyone else who does. And as the story builds, you might decide he is a character much like Clarence the Angel in "It's a Wonderful Life," there to simply make sure that love rules the day.
