Polka Theatre has announced new shows coming to Polka in 2025. Polka's major summer show in 2025 will be the world premiere of The Boy With Wings, a co-production with Birmingham Rep, based on the best-selling Macmillan children's book by Sir Lenny Henry, and adapted by writer Arvind Ethan David and directed by the Bush Theatre's Associate Artistic Director, Daniel Bailey.

The Little Angel Theatre is set to stage productions of Pinocchio and I Want My Hat Back. Ian Nicholson and Sam Wilde have created a new live version of their hit lockdown digital shows in I Want My Hat Back Trilogy, adapted from Jon Klassen’s beloved books. The show runs 21 May – 31 July 2022. For ages 3 – 6.

Created by Ian Nicholson and Sam Wilde, the team behind the viral lockdown hit I Want My Hat Back, this free 15-minute short film is for the whole family to be enjoyed over the festive period. It will be available exclusively from 19th December for those who sign up to the Polka newsletter from now until Christmas.
Little Angel Theatre Streams Ian Nicholson's Performance Of I WANT MY HAT BACK

Little Angel Theatre has partnered with theatre director IAN NICHOLSON to stream an adaptation of JON KLASSEN's picture book I Want My Hat Back. The performance will be broadcast on Little Angel Theatre's YouTube channel on Easter Monday, 13 April at 11am BST. Nicholson will be directing and performing the show from home during lockdown, with set designed by Samuel Wilde and music by Jim Whitcher.
