She made her small screen debut as epileptic First Lady Ida McKinley in an Emmy Award-winning docuseries for the History Channel, and has appeared in many industrials and a few commercials (perhaps most famously touting Empire Carpets).

Amy toured nationally with the THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA (1st Bwy Ntl) and internationally with TWICE CHARMED for WDC/Disney Live. She made her small screen debut as epileptic First Lady Ida McKinley in an Emmy Award-winning docuseries for the History Channel, and has appeared in many industrials and a few commercials (perhaps most famously touting Empire Carpets).
Her NYC credits include SEASONS, the musical (Mrs. Jones), for The Times Square International Theatre Festival (Best of the Fest Award), THEO & CO (Mrs. Sapphire Blissett) for Musicals Tonight!, and original workshops of THE LEGACY (Marisia) at the Dramatists Guild and WARSAW (Helena), directed by Jamibeth Margolis and written by William Wade.
She holds a Masters in Education (K-9) additionally endorsed in Theatre Arts, Language Arts, and Middle School, and has worked over 20 years as a teaching artist in NYC and Chicagoland; her original drama and creative movement curriculum is implemented in Pre-K and elementary classrooms.
An Illinois native, Amy won a Jeff Award for her portrayal of Lucille Frank in PARADE (Regional Premiere) and earned acclaim for her work as Momma Rose in GYPSY (Broadway World Nominee). Recent faves include Donna in MAMMA MIA!, Alice Beineke in THE ADDAMS FAMILY, Mrs. Potts in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Elizabeth in YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN and Woman #2 in SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD.
