William Hamilton Tighe is an interdisciplinary Theatre Designer who graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with an Honours Degree in Theatre Practice – Design for Performance.
Tighe has not only worked up and down the country designing scenery, costumes and props but also works in and around scenery workshops to refine skills that will aid the designing process and learning valuable techniques that will aid a wider variety of design jobs.
Tighe has a very keen interest in sustainable practice in design, leading on from drama school and seeing how wasteful the industry can be, especially being mindful about the life of a set after a show and is keen to bring new ideas to designs thinking about its afterlife and how sets can be used and reused in different forms.
