Tori Sicklick

BIO

Tori Sicklick is a passionate performer who loves to explore distinct characters and storytelling through movement and play. From Woodcliff Lake, NJ, Tori grew up dancing at the Irine Fokine School of Ballet and fell in love with musical theatre at age 6 after seeing the Broadway revival of 42nd Street. Tori earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Utah, working closely with former Program Head Denny Berry on various productions as her assistant choreographer and dance captain. Tori is a member of Actors’ Equity and SAG Eligible, having performed regionally, as well as in TV, film, and commercials.

Obie Award winning Metropolitan Playhouse (220 E. 4th Street) presents Jacob Gordin's The Jewish King Lear, one of the foundational works of the "Golden Age" of American Yiddish theater, in a new English translation by Ruth Gay, from April 27 through May 27, 2018. The play, which had its Lower East Side debut in 1892 and was written as a star vehicle for Jacob Adler, one of the greatest actors of the New York's Yiddish stage. Metropolitan Playhouse welcomes back director Ed Chemaly (The Easiest Way, The Spirit House) to helm the production.

Paper Mill Playhouse hosted the 18th Annual Rising Star Awards - Presented by the Investors Foundation -tonight, June 4th at the Millburn Theater. Schools nominated for Outstanding Overall Production and Leading Actor/Actress nominees performed at the event and award recipients were presented with a crystal award from Tiffany & Co. Summit High School came out on top, winning Outstanding Overall Production of a Musical. A total of 31 awards were presented along with five scholarships and other cash prizes.
