Timothy Dakin-Dunn is a multidisciplinary theatre artist, director, choreographer, writer, and performer with nearly three decades of experience spanning regional, Chicago, and New York City stages. A longtime veteran of New York’s Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, Timothy spent over a decade as a performer, writer, director, and producer in UCB’s renowned comedy scene, where he also served as Senior Producer for UCB Comedy’s digital branch. There, he oversaw the creation and promotion of weekly original content, managing teams of writers, directors, and editors.
As a performer, Timothy has appeared in a wide range of theatrical productions, from contemporary plays to large-scale musicals. Notable credits include Cabaret (Emcee), Sympathetic Magic (Pauly Scott), Casa Valentina (Gloria), The Drowsy Chaperone (Man in Chair), Noises Off (Gary Lejeune), CATS (Skimbleshanks) and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Le Fou), with work at theaters such as Bridge Street Theatre, The St. Louis MUNY, Drury Lane (Evergreen Park/Oakbrook), The Marriott Lincolnshire, and Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre.
In addition to his stage work, Timothy has worked extensively in unscripted television, serving as a live host and writer for HQ Trivia, HQ Words, and One2Win Trivia, and appearing on FuseTV and Animal Planet.
A graduate of Northwestern University's Theatre (and Musical Theatre) programs, Timothy’s work is driven by a deep belief in theatre as an act of joyful defiance — a way to bring people together, tell necessary stories, and illuminate the human condition through play, collaboration, and craft.
