BIO
As a poet, writer, and community leader, Susan Justiniano has been involved in Arts nonprofit organizations since 2018, her first experience with the Jersey City Arts Council. Susan has also have the honor of serving as board member of In Full Color, Vice President of WordSeed Inc, Co-Chair of EDI for Bergen County Players, and various committees for Paterson Performing Arts Development Council, Jersey City Puerto Rican Heritage, Arts and Culture, ArtPride New Jersey, Hudson County Community College Language Collective and Hudson County Chamber of Commerce.

The Paterson Performing Arts Development Council welcomes Susan Justiniano, the 2024 Playwright-In-Residence, also known as RescuePoetix. Her play, 'By the Light of the Ghetto Moon,' will be featured at the Annual Hamilton Arts Festival.

The DOWNTOWN URBAN ARTS FESTIVAL will present 16 plays (nine shorts and seven one-acts.) The festival kicks off on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6 when Savion Glover and Reg E. Gaines (Bring in da Noise Bring in da Funk) make a much-anticipated return to The Public Theater with the centerpiece production If Trane Wuz Here.
