As previously announced, EY is the 2019 recipient of The Drama League's Arts Ally Award, to be accepted by Herb Engert at the Benefit Gala.

Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce the opening of "A Christmas Carol: The Tale of Ebenezer Scrooge," a world premiere adaptation of the Dickens classic written and directed by Mark Shanahan. Playing November 30-December 19 in the Historic Arcade Theatre, the run includes four nearly sold out preview performances November 27-29.

This week, a lighting-quick comedy takes the stage at TheatreSquared in the "gut-bustingly hilarious" (The Times) The Hound of the Baskervilles, a new adaptation that simultaneously spoofs and reveres Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's most celebrated mystery. In this highly theatrical adaptation by Steven Canny and John Nicholson, Sherlock Holmes and Watson set off to the moors to debunk a family 'curse," and encounter dozens of suspicious characters who may be too much for Sherlock-or, for that matter, a cast of three-to handle. TheatreSquared's production is produced in partnership with Virginia Stage Company and directed by Mark Shanahan (Peter and the Starcatcher). If you are looking for a wonderfully well-done, dark and layered storyline, with some very fun and slightly scandalous musical numbers, I highly recommend Florida Rep's CABARET. CABARET is a very popular, well-known musical for a reason, and Florida Rep's version of it is outstanding. Get your tickets to see this fantastic show before they are gone!

Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce the extension of the John Kander and Fred Ebb classic, "Cabaret.' Because of overwhelming demand, three performances have been added at the end of the scheduled run, April 12 at 7 PM, April 13 at 8 PM, and April 14 at 2 PM.
