Shayna Toh

Shayna Toh is a Rhode Island-based student originally from Singapore. Her first musical, Firefly in the Light, premiered in November 2014 in Singapore when she was 17. This pop-rock musical was an Official Selection of the 2017 New York Musical Festival with three presentations at Playwrights Horizons, Off-Broadway, and was staged again in Brown University in March 2019. Shayna is a winner of the 2019 New Voices Project hosted by New Musicals Inc. in Los Angeles with support from Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Entertainment. She is also a music director (Pippin, Heathers), vocalist (Carnegie Hall 2014), and performer. Shayna holds an ABRSM Diploma in Music Performance (Piano) and Advanced Certificate in Singing from Trinity College London and also plays the cello, electone and guitar.
