Sean Michael Williams is a Los Angeles based, actor, filmmaker, and creator whose work spans theatre, film, television, and commercial media. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Sean grew up training as a versatile performer with a strong musical theatre background. Sean has appeared in numerous Chicago & Midwest-area stage productions, earning regional recognition for both leading and supporting roles.
His favorite theatre credits include RENT, Shrek The Musical, 9 to 5, Mamma Mia!, A Little Princess, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Young Frankenstein, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, The Drowsy Chaperone, The Music Man, Blues for Mister Charlie, Footloose, Hairspray, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Ernani with Lyric Opera of Chicago.
On screen, Sean has performed in independent films, television projects, and commercial campaigns for major brands including Disney+, Rocket Money, Walgreens, Caterpillar, Lowe’s, Rust-Oleum, Paylocity, and M1 Finance. He frequently portrays grounded, charismatic leads and authoritative supporting characters.
In addition to performing, Sean is an accomplished filmmaker. He produced and starred in the feature-length horror film Cabin of Horror and created the Chicago-based police drama web series CHASE: The Series, which he wrote and produced. His background in directing informs his nuanced, story-driven approach to acting.
