Black Box Studios and Liberty Arts Theatre presents THE SINGER-SONGWRITER SHOWCASE VOL. 1, a new recurring event featuring area bands and artists, which will premiere on Tuesday, February 27th, 2024 at 7:30PM at  Debonair Music Hall.

Musical Theatre Guild, the winner of the Los Angeles Drama Critic's Circle Margaret Harford Award for sustained excellence in the theatre, will open their 22nd Anniversary season with SUGAR, the stage musical version of the classic Hollywood film "Some Like It Hot."  This is the first of four musicals chosen in a season celebrating musical stage adaptions of films.  The one-night-only concert will take place at Glendale's historic Alex Theatre on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 7:00 PM.

Roger Hodgson,legendary vocalist and singer-songwriter fromSupertramp,is heading back toNorth America for a series of fall dates. Following extensive tours of Europe and Brazil, Hodgson kicks off his North America tour on November 4 in Wabash, Indiana.

Benefits by Bay Street presented TYPHOON RELIEF FOR THE PHILIPPINES night of bands on Sunday, November 24. The lineup of bands included LOLA, THE VANDETTAS, NANCY ATLAS, INDA EATON, HOODOO LOUNGERS, GENE CASEY, RICK DAVIES, ESCOLA de SAMBA BOOM and JOE DELIA and the THIEVES. The night of fundraising included a silent auction and was co-hosted by Suffolk County Legislator Jay Schneiderman and Bonnie Grice for WPPB. Suggested donation $25, though any and all amounts are appreciated. All ticket proceeds will be distributed to the Red Cross to aid in helping the victims of the typhoon in the Philippines. Suffolk County Legislator Jay Schneiderman and WPPB radio host Bonnie Grice will co-host the evening. WPPB will broadcast with a live simulcast with a phone bank open for donations.
