Patrick B. Phillips is a New York City–based music director, conductor, producer, arranger/orchestrator, and pianist working across Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, new musical development, and film/television.
His Broadway credits include THE WIZ (2024 revival), TITANIQUE, & JULIET, SUFFS, BACK TO THE FUTURE, SWEENEY TODD (2023 revival), and JAGGED LITTLE PILL. With THE WIZ, Phillips became the youngest known Black conductor on record to lead a Broadway orchestra and later served as Associate Music Director/Associate Conductor for the national tour.
Beyond Broadway, his work includes productions and developmental projects at The Public Theater, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Paper Mill Playhouse, and other major theatrical institutions. His screen work includes ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING, KPOP DEMON HUNTERS, and Disney’s SNOW WHITE.
Phillips specializes in developing new musicals and works across music direction, conducting, arranging, orchestration, and music production from early readings and workshops through full production. A graduate of Rutgers University, he is of Filipino and Bajan heritage.
