Before East Lynne Theater Company (ELTC) revs up its fall lineup, the curtain prepares to close on its summer 2023 Mainstage Season with a six-week run of A. R. Gurney's “Love Letters”– but with a twist. From Sept. 6 to Oct. 14, the play will be performed by a real-life couple with a connection each of the six weeks: three married couples, an engaged duo, and two pairs who share a romantic past. 

The Broadway hit play, The Lifespan of a Fact, written by Jeremy Kareken, David Murrell, and Gordon Farrell, based on the true story between essayist, John D'Agata and a fact-checker, Jim Fingal, continues at Cape May Stage through October 2nd with a special talk-back directly following the Sunday, September 18th 2 pm matinee.

To kick off the fall season, Cape May Stage presents The Taming by Lauren Gunderson, a political satire that is a refreshing antidote to today's political climate and non-stop squabbling. The Taming runs September 25, 2019 - November 1, 2019, Wednesday-Saturday at 7:30 PM and Saturday & Sunday at 3:00 PM.

New Jersey Theatre Alliance, in partnership with New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark, announces the return of NJPAC Stage Exchange for a fifth year.  Cape May history comes to life at Cape May Stage this holiday season at the world premiere of 'A Cape May Christmas,' opening Friday,  November 27. Cape May Stage is located at 405 Lafayette Street in Cape May. On Saturday, November 28, Cape May Stage will also present 'The Twelve Dates of Christmas' at Congress Hall, 200 Congress Place, Cape May. Both plays were created by women playwrights, the sixth and seventh productions in a season of all-female playwrights in 2015.
